Confirmation
Confirmation is offered
for all ninth grade youth. We usually begin our program mid-October and
conclude with the Rite of Confirmation during morning worship on the first
Sunday of the next October.
Confirmation meets almost every Sunday evening, 6pm-8pm, October through May.

schedule.) We begin with supper, provided by parents, and then spend the rest of the time
focusing on a topic. In addition to the discussion time, youth attend worship,
participate in service projects, visit other churches, and meet with mentors.
The Confirmation program offers youth an opportunity to grow in faith and
deepen their understanding of Christian discipleship. During the Rite of
Confirmation, participants affirm the baptism promises their parents made for
them and promise to continue to grow as Christians. At the same time, they
become full voting members of this congregation.
