We're a congregation of close to 700 members, with 200-250 adults and 70-100 children and youth in worship each Sunday.

Decision-making and Governance:

bullet

The congregation is governed by its members, who make all decisions regarding finances, pastoral leadership, programming, worship, etc.

bullet

Twice a year, a regular congregational meeting is held -- in February, to approve the budget for that year and in June, to elect officers and elect persons to church boards and committees. Special congregational meetings may also be held.

bullet

In between congregational meetings, the Church Council governs on behalf of the entire congregation. The Church Council is composed of the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of each church board.

bulletThe members of the church have developed and approved the Constitution and Bylaws. These govern the organizational life of the church.
bulletThe members of the congregation elect persons to serve on the church Boards and Committees. Most members serve for a three-year term, which can be renewed once.
